This laptop does a decent job both as a gaming PC and as a laptop you can carry around all day. If a 14" screen is comfortable to you, this is a compelling solution if you need one machine to fill both roles even though it runs hot during gaming because of its small size. The omission of a webcam is becoming more common for gaming laptops, and it's true that you will get a better video quality with an external camera, but it makes things a bit more complicated if you must deal with impromptu videoconferencing.
Thanks to detailed documentation, upgrade and maintenance are straightforward with the common restrictions of having some RAM soldered to the board and having no GPU replacement options. However, if you need more storage space of more general-purpose memory, you have options, and it could be a DIY project.
