Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15-inch laptop (NP950XED-KA1CA)
This attractive laptop is a great fit for anyone spending little time working from their desk with its thin design, good battery life and a screen more conducive to working in a brightly lit environment. It does have a reputation for overheating because of that thin design, however, so it's better suited to scenarios where its full power is only necessary in short bursts or at the desk with additional cooling.
As far as long-term considerations go, information is a bit limited on maintenance and upgrades, but we know that the starting memory is soldered in place (no mention of an expansion slot) and that storage is slotted, making it upgradable. Without hardware documentation, this wouldn't be the best candidate for DIY maintenance for the inexperienced user.
