So you do lose the option to connect this version of the console to the TV or to detach the controller, but it results in a lighter, more portable game console capable of running almost every Nintendo Switch titles at a lower cost.

This version of the switch which, in effect, cannot "switch" might be less versatile, but could be a worthwhile option if you only plan to play your switch on the go.
