Here are a few things about this tablet which could come as a surprise. For each point, you will find how to fix it (if it's an issue) and how much to budget for it. Not every point below will be a concern, but hopefully, we can keep your surprises to a minimum.

Protective Case. Some people get a protective case for their tablet. It can be a matter of personalization or protection, but if you get a case, try to get one which doesn't make drops more likely.$20+

Unusual Expenses. Some expected features are missing from the base product which will nearly guarantee that you will need to buy essential accessories. This could be external dongles to get USB ports or headphone jacks or a keyboard cover which, while optional, is shown in every single photo of the product. See description above for details.~$200

Dongle-Dependant. This tablet has no regular USB port. So, in order to plug most USB peripherals, you will need an adapter of some kind. Those are sometimes included but not always and can result in hefty expenses. $10-$120
